USAV Volleyball Training Practice Test

The Libero is identified on the scoresheet with a triangular symbol. When there is a Libero pre-switch serve, that Libero triangle is shown on both sides of the sheet. This dual marking makes the serving plan clear across rotations and sides, so officials and scorekeepers know exactly which Libero will be involved in the service before the switch. Using a triangle on both sides avoids ambiguity that could arise if only one side were marked or if no symbol were used, since it confirms the Libero’s participation in the upcoming service across the full scoring view.
